Davenport West High School participated in a Unified golf event sponsored by Special Olympics Iowa. A total of 17 Unified pairs played in a three-hole tournament at Red Hawk Golf Course. It was a remarkable day of golfing and building relationships between students of all abilities.
Davenport Community Schools had a couple of outstanding performances at State Track: Greta Brus from North High School placed 3rd in Girls Shot Put. She threw 39-04.75. Idris Thomas from West High School placed 4th in the Boys High Jump. He jumped 6-09.00.
Senior Decision Day at Davenport West High School took place on May 5th. The following West students completed at least 7 activities on the “Senior 7” to prepare for their futures!
