Horror Week is Alive in the Quad Cities

Halloween at The Rust Belt!

The Rust Belt (533 12th Avenue East Moline) will have live music from The Dawn (performing as Pink Floyd), Candymakers and Still Shine. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the music begins at 8 p.m. Tickets for this all-ages show are just $15 and can be purchased online.

 

Day of the Dead with the Figge

Laura Wriedt of the Figge Art Museum leads a Day of the Dead presentation at Bettendorf Public Library (2950 Learning Campus Dr. Bettendorf) on Monday Oct 28 from 6 – 7 p.m. Attendees will learn about the tradition and roots of the Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos, where families welcome back the souls of the deceased.  Laura Wriedt will share how the Figge Art Museum celebrates this holiday with the community, and participants will create their own sugar skull design.

 

Schadt Park Annual Halloween Weenie Roast

The Optimist Club of Silvis and the Silvis Fire Department will be hosting the annual weenie roast at Schadt Park from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday Oct 31. They will provide free hot dogs and cold beverages along with a warm fire! A costume contest will also be part of the festivities!

 

Community Trick or Treat

Head to Aperion Care (430 30th Avenue East Moline) on Wednesday Oct 30 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. for ghoulish games, freaky fun, and sneaky snacks. Wear your Halloween costume and bring a trick or treating bag! For questions, please call (309) 755-3466. *This is a FREE community event*

 

Halloween Horror at Paradigm

Enjoy a night of spooks at Paradigm (320 E 2nd Street Davenport) on Thursday Oct 31 from 3 – 10 p.m. For only $10, you can enjoy classic horror movies, horror games, pizza, costume contest and more! Visit https://www.facebook.com/events/520758388747462/ for more information.

 

Zombies and Zaaas Costume Run

Months in the making, a Fleet Feet Davenport and LoPiez collab! Wear your spookiest costume, and head to LoPiez (429 E 3rd St. Davenport) on Wednesday Oct 30 at 6 p.m. for a jaunt through downtown and beyond, and then circle back for frightening deals on slices, tall boys, and those famous margaritas.
