Freight House Farmers Market and St. Ambrose University Band have partnered to bring you a rockin’ welcome to spring!
Saturday May 5 marks the opening day of the outdoor Freight House Farmers Market (421 W River Dr Davenport)! With help from the St. Ambrose University Band, this is going to be a fun-filled day!
At 8 a.m. the St. Ambrose University Drumline will kick the celebration off at the official Opening of the Outdoor Market! Come enjoy the fanfare and reconnect with all your favorite market vendors. Enjoy some tasty treats and check out what’s new! There will be a performance by St. Ambrose musicians on the Freight House Market stage, and a special appearance by Bandit of the QC River Bandits!
The market hours through the month of May are 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays and from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Sundays.
The fun won’t end there! Bring those tasty market treats down to the LeClaire Park bandshell for a free concert from the SAU Symphonic Band and Marching Band when you’re done shopping! Bring a lunch or purchase one from a vendor, grab a seat or lay out a blanket and enjoy the music performed by the talented student-musicians!
