Time For A Beer Run!
It’s time for a beer run! No, I don’t mean a trip to the store for beer and then heading back home to sit around. I mean it’s time for the 4th Annual Micro Brew Mile and 6K race and Craft Beer Festival!
This year’s Micro Brew Mile Craft Beer Festival will take place on Saturday June 17 in Downtown Moline (5th Avenue and 14th Street and in the parking lot behind Barrel House).
The first portion of this festival is, of course, the races! Micro Brew Mile presents the only multi-wave road mile to fit every level of fitness and speed in the Midwest followed by a flat and fast 6K! The different waves of the mile race will begin at 4 p.m. and the 6K will begin at 5:15 p.m. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced runner there is a wave for you! Participants in the races will also have an opportunity to enjoy the Micro Brew Mile Craft Beer Festival for only $10!
Following the races will be the Micro Brew Mile Craft Beer Festival! Whether you are looking for a personal reward after the race or just want to enjoy some craft beer excellence, from 5-8 p.m. come experience over 40 breweries offering over 110 different styles of craft beers. There will also be free appetizers from the QC’s best restaurants, live entertainment and Micro Brew Mile merchandise for purchase. Tickets for this event are $35 and can be purchased online or at the gate. Make sure to get there early and have your ID ready to be checked.
