Take A Stroll To The Village For ChristmasSanta, Scrooge and Trolley Rides all in one place? Must be time for the annual Village Christmas Walk!

Head down to the Village of East Davenport this weekend to enjoy the 2017 Village Christmas Walk! This free event has been celebrated for over 41 years!

To kick off the festivities, Santa can be seen both Friday Dec 1 and Saturday Dec 2 heading down 11th Street to the Village Fire House in a fire truck! Both nights, activities will be happening from 6-9 p.m.

Trolley rides will be boarding in from of Lagomarcino’s on 11th Street throughout the evening. Retro fire truck rides will also be available, weather permitting. Scrooge will be at the Boyler’s Building. There will be a Kid’s Crafting Center at the new Isabel Bloom location (736 Federal Street), face painting in The Village Theatre, petting zoo and nativity scene at Gildea’s Pocket Park (corner of Mount St. and E 11th St.) and live music throughout the entire Village of East Davenport!

Make sure to say hello to the Grinch, Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, as well! Enjoy Jack Frost nipping at noses throughout the Village. The Metro Drum Corp will perform at 7 p.m. on Saturday night and the “Winter Sparkle” firework show will commence at 9 p.m.

While experiencing all of the Christmas joy, make sure to stop in local businesses and check out all of the amazing specials they will be offering!
