Poinsettias And Lights Blooming In Winter At VanderveerNothing says Christmas like poinsettias and lights, and now you can enjoy the beauty of both at VanderVeer Park!

That’s right, Poinsettias and Lights! is open and ready for visitors at the VanderVeer Conservatory (214 W Central Park Ave Davenport). This year’s theme is ‘The Polar Express’ and is open until Jan 6.

This year’s annual holiday extravaganza features countless poinsettias, Paintsettias and a multitude of lights! In addition, this Saturday Dec 23 the Conservatory hours will be extended to 7 p.m. with free themed activities and crafts, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The VanderVeer Conservatory and greenhouses are open Tuesday – Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (closed on Mondays). Admission is $1 for adults (ages 16 and older) and free for ages 15 and under. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free on Tuesdays. The park is open daily from sunrise until one half-hour after sunset. Vehicle entrances are off Central Park Avenue.
