Play Ball At HyVee John Deere Road!
Are you a fan of baseball? Delicious food? Raising money for a good cause? Then this is the event for you!
On Saturday May 27, Hy-Vee on John Deere Rd in Moline will be hosting a Family Baseball Event, Play Ball! From 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. you can bring the whole family out for a day full of baseball fun.
You will have an opportunity to show off your curveball skills at the Fast Pitch Machine, or your pitching speed at the Dunk Tank! Each throw is $1 or you can buy a bundle of 6 throws for $5. All proceeds will be given to the Children’s Therapy Center.
From 12-1:30 p.m. Rascal the Racoon, the River Bandit’s mascot, will be making an appearance for pictures and fun.
Make sure to come hungry! Hy-Vee will have the grill going and there will be fresh popcorn. The Market Grille will also be offering half price taps, a Stadium Nacho Platter for $6 and an Umpire’s Special Smoked Bacon Cheeseburger Basket for $7.
All are encouraged to wear their favorite team’s gear. Head on down to the John Deere Rd Hy-Vee this weekend for an unforgettable time!
