Navy Concert Marches Into Rock Island
Looking for a relaxing and patriotic way to spend your Sunday afternoon? Then you are in luck!
On Sunday, April 2 the United State Navy Concert Band is coming to Rock Island! The concert will be held at Augustana College’s Centennial Hall, located at 3703 7th Avenue Rock Island. The show will run from 2-4pm.
This is a FREE event! However, tickets are required to avoid overfilling the auditorium. There is a limit of six tickets per request. To obtain your tickets, stop by the Augustana Ticket Office at 3703 7th Avenue Rock Island during normal business hours, 10am-6pm M-F and 10am-2pm on Saturdays. You can also send a request along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Augustana College Ticket Office, 639 38th St., Rock Island, Illinois, 61201. Tickets will be mailed back.
Since its inception in 1925, the Navy Band has been entertaining audiences and supporting the Navy with some of the best musicians in the country.
