Miles Neilsen, Chicago Farmer, Old Shoe Headline Dawn And On 2017

Miles Neilsen, Chicago Farmer, Old Shoe Headline Dawn And On 2017Quad Cities jam band The Dawn will be hosting their third annual “Dawn and On Music Festival” at Len Brown’s North Shore Inn in Moline on July 8. Drawing off the success of the previous two years, which drew more than 1,000 fans each year, this year’s event will feature even more regional and national touring bands along with some of the QC’s most popular acts.

Joining the Dawn, other headlining artists for DAO 2017 will be Old Shoe, Miles Nielsen & The Rusted Hearts, Chicago Farmer.

Since co-founding the festival in 2015, festival promoter Mike Mathews is ecstatic about the 2017 lineup.  “As The Dawn’s regional popularity has grown, so has our festival lineup,” said Mathews.  Many of our acts this year are staples at festivals much larger than ours, so being able to bring them all together in Moline in just our third year feels amazing.”

Along with the eleven bands on the bill, Dawn and On 2016 will feature an expanded light show, more vendors and a few “surprises.”  As per tradition, there will also be a Friday night pre-party at Bent River in Rock Island.

Festival tickets will be $5 at the gate and a portion of all ticket sales will be donated to the Child Abuse Council of the Quad Cities.  More information including the complete lineup can be found at www.thedawnband.com.
