Not only does the Micro Brew Mile series provide a fun-filled day with friends, but it also raises funds for some great causes. By participating in any of the great activities planned throughout the day, you are directly helping to raise funds for the Children’s Therapy Center of the Quad Cities (https://www.ctcqc.org/), The Chris “SPEY” VanSpeybroeck Memorial (https://speymemorial.weebly.com/) and the newest addition to the Micro Brew Mile family, the Mississippi Bend Trykes (https://www.mississippibendtrykes.org/).

Volunteers are still needed to help this day flow as seamlessly as possible. The number one need is Course Marshals, which will assist with the course, traffic control and cheering on the runners. Set-up and tear-down volunteers are also needed, as well as the fun-filled job of Craft-Beer Engineers (or not so fancy sounding, beer sample pouring). If you are interested in offering your assistance to this Quad Cities’ favorite event, please visit http://www.microbrewmile.com/volunteer.
