Make A Story With Writing Workshop!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to watch the scenes you’ve written come to life? Not through a movie or through a long-awaited play, but through you performing the scenes. On Saturday, March 4 from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. you will have the opportunity to act out scenes in Midwest Writing Center’s Make A Scene Fiction/Storytelling Workshop. Midwest Writing Center is located at 401 19th Street in Rock Island on the ground floor. The cost is $15 for MWC members and $20 for non-MWC members. You can purchase tickets at this link: http://www.mwcqc.org/make-a-scene-workshop/ and you can visit the facebook event page at this link: https://www.facebook.com/events/1652975895007728/.

She wrote her first story at the age of five and her first novel at the age of 16, both remaining unpublished. So far in her career path, she has been a bookseller in Madison, WI, studied at Florida State University and Cornell University, and was an assistant professor at Lewis Clark State College for four years before settling in eastern Iowa with her family. Her published works include A Lesson in Manners, Sisters: An Anthology, and Walking the Labyrinth on My Almost Birthday. You can visit her website at the following link: http://www.mistyurban.net/.
