Kiwanis Club of East Moline-Silvis is hosting their final Flea Market of this year, the Fall Flea Market Extravaganza! It will take place on Sunday Sep 24 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Rock Island County Fairgrounds in East Moline.
Throughout this past year, the Kiwanis Club Flea Markets have grown in numbers of both vendors and shoppers. Which means this could be the biggest and best one, yet! A $2 donation is requested at the gate. All proceeds go to benefit the Kiwanis Club.
The East Moline-Silvis Kiwanis Club was chartered in 1954. They are a local club made up of men and women dedicated to making a difference in the community. Their focus is on “Serving the Children of the World”. The Special Olympics, Spastic Paralysis research, QC Children’s Therapy Center, assistance in local libraries and Quad Cities’ food pantries are just a few of the positive ways they assist the community.
