Jaycees Help With Playground Renovation Project
Service to humanity is the best work of life. It’s not just part of the Jaycees creed but their DNA as Jaycees members. Jaycees of the Quad Cities, a 100% volunteer driven organization give countless hours and donations to make our community a better place to live, work and play.
Members of the Jaycees of the Quad Cities will present a gift of $25,000 on-site to Hand-in-Hand, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been serving the Quad Cities since 2000 by creating fun, inclusive learning experiences for children and young adults. The check will go towards the organizations’ Playground Improvement Project that has begun this summer.
As young professionals, the Jaycees of the Quad Cities promote leadership, volunteerism and charity. This is just one example of the work we do in the community year after year.
“The Jaycees of the Quad Cities are always looking for ways to impact their community. This project fits within our mission by providing development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. We hope that this project will help the youth that attend Hand-in-Hand grow and develop in ways that will help them impact their communities in the future ,” said Christy Bruce, President, Jaycees of the Quad Cities.
