All of the Rusty Revolution proceeds go directly to the Iowa Donor Network (IDN) which is a non-profit organization that operates as the primary contact for organ, tissue and eye donation services for the state of Iowa. IDN also serves as the tissue recovery agency for the state and strives to provide the best possible care to donor families, facilitate the recovery of organs and tissues, educate the communities they serve and support special events to promote donation throughout Iowa.

On May 5, 2014, Justin “Rusty” Lockett, passed away at the age of 30, from a traumatic brain injury.  Justin was a donor from the day he turned 16 because he was educated on the importance of organ donation.  Justin saved the immediate lives of 5 strangers that day by donating his lungs, heart, liver, pancreas, left and right kidney.  He also donated corneas, bones, connective tissue, skin, and thoracic aorta.

Rusty Revolution has donated over $24,000 to date and has become one of the largest fundraising events for the Iowa Donor Network. Come celebrate the life of an amazing man while helping a great cause!
