Huge overstock fundraising sale at Dress for Success Quad Cities Aug. 4

Dress for Success Quad Cities will open to the public for their summer “Second Chance Sale” on Saturday, August 4. This much-anticipated sale gives shoppers the opportunity to buy new and gently-loved brand name attire and accessories at bargain prices. All funds raised benefit Dress for Success Quad Cities, the local nonprofit that provides professional clothing, a network of support, and career development tools to empower women to achieve economic stability. The event takes place Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  at  Dress for Success Quad Cities, 311 East 2nd Street, Davenport.

Sale items have been deemed either too casual or formal for the women who receive free interview and employment attire though the Suiting Program or have been in the boutique for over a year. Due to a huge selection of overstock inventory and the need to make space for fall donations, sale prices will be even lower than usual.

Women’s suits, separates, jackets, sundresses, blouses, shoes, handbags and more are only $2. Accessories like wallets, scarves and jewelry are $1. Cash only please.

Dress for Success® Quad Cities is one of 147 affiliates around the globe. The organization’s goal is to empower women toward economic stability. Dress for Success has served more than one million women worldwide by providing them with businessappropriate clothing, job-search support, mentoring and professional development programs.
