Honest! It’s Family Fun Day At Camp Abe!
The days are getting warmer and the kids are getting out of school, which means it is time for camping season to commence!
YMCA Camp Abe Lincoln is kicking off their 2017 season on Sunday June 4 with a Family Fun Day. From 12-5 p.m. the entire family is invited for day full of fun in the sun! Camp Abe Lincoln, located at 1624 Front Street Blue Grass, has been a staple in the community for ninety years.
Many activities will be available including archery, swimming in the pool, hiking, field games, canoeing and more! Hot dogs and chips will also be available and donations are welcome.
Registration is required for this event. If you register prior to May 28, the cost is free for YMCA families and only $10 for community families (up to 5 people). On May 28, the cost will increase to $10 for YMCA families and $20 for community families. Registration can be completed online at: https://online.scottcountyfamilyy.org/cgi-bin/ymweb.pl.
Some suggested items to bring for this fun-filled day are water bottles, good walking/playing shoes (no flip flops), swimsuit and towel if you want to swim and any snacks your family may want. Carpooling is highly recommended to avoid any parking issues.
