Are you looking for a fun-filled day of shopping, children’s activities and a lighted Christmas parade? Then head to Geneseo this weekend!

The 32^nd Annual Christmas Walk in Geneseo is taking place this Saturday Dec 9!

Kicking off the event, the popular Geneseo Jingle Run will take place at 8:30 a.m. This 5k event is only $20 to participate ($25 after Dec 7), and includes a commemorative t-shirt with pre-registration. Enjoy shopping throughout the day in downtown Geneseo. Make sure to stop in one of the local breweries and pubs, as well! Children’s activities, including special crafts, face painting, writing letters to Santa, making reindeer food and much more will keep everyone in the family happy! Children’s choirs will also be performing throughout the day.

The ever-growing lighted parade will begin at 5 p.m. Numerous floats, marching musicians and animals will parade southward down State Street into the downtown district.

After the parade, you can enjoy the business-front windows. Both living and still scenes will celebrate the season!
