Festival Of Trees Kicks Off This Week!
Nothing kicks off the holiday season in the Quad Cities more festively than the Festival of Trees!
This amazing annual tradition since 1986, held at the RiverCenter (136 E 3rd St Davenport), will commence festivities on Thursday Nov 16. There will be something to enjoy for the entire family between the art galleries, Bo the Bear, the decorated trees and much more!
Here is a full list of the Special Events at the Festival of Trees 2017:
Thursday Nov 16 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Santa’s Special Stars– Special day dedicated exclusively to the stars with disabilities (not open to public)
Thursday Nov 16 5:30-9:30 p.m.
Cheers! Beer and Wine Tasting Party– Tickets $25 in advance and $30 at the door
Friday Nov 17 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Silver Bell Social– Party dedicated to senior friends over 55 years (Tickets $5 at door and $4 for Plus 60 Members)
Friday Nov 17 6:30 p.m.
Festival Premiere Party– Celebrate the opening of Festival of Trees with raffles, auctions, music, food and more (Tickets $60 in advance and $70 at the door)
Saturday Nov 18 10 a.m.
Holiday Parade– The 25th Anniversary of the largest helium balloon parade in the Midwest. Free for the public. For parade route, go to https://www.quadcityarts.com/festivaloftrees/special-events/parade-route-map_2017/.
Sunday Nov 19 2 p.m.
Teddy Bear Tea– Located at the Radisson QC Plaza (111 E 2nd St Davenport) tickets are $30 each or $300 for a table of 10.
Monday Nov 20 5 p.m.
Sizzlin’ Soiree– Reservations are required. Tickets are $50 each or $360 for a table of 8.
Tuesday Nov 21 6-9 p.m.
SugarPlum Ball– Formal father-daughter dance with DJ and raffle prizes. Event is sold out.
Wednesday Nov 22 11 a.m.
Celebrity Lunch– Located at Radisson QC Plaza (111 E 2nd St Davenport) Local celebrities will become waiters for a day. Reservations are required and tickets are $50 each or $500 for a table of 10.
Saturday Nov 25 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Family Day– $1 off General Admission prices for the whole family!
Saturday Nov 25 1 p.m.
Afternoon Adventure: Movie at the Putnam! Bringing “Jingle All the Way” to the big screen at the Putnam Museum. Free hot cocoa will all of the fixings will be available before the movie. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door.

General admission tickets are available for purchase at the door during Festival hours. Adults are $10, Seniors (60+) are $6, QC Times Plus 60 Club are $5 and Children (2-10) are only $3. All IHMVCU Members can show their debit, credit or membership cards or IHMVCU checks for BOGO General Admission tickets (only applies to same type of tickets).
