Family Museum Holding “The Kids’ Table: A Grown-Up Helping”
On Saturday, March 4, from 6:30 – 10:00 pm, the Family Museum will host “The Kids’ Table: A Grown-Up Helping,” an exclusive, one-night fundraising event for grown-ups featuring gourmet twists on classic kid food composed and prepared by local chefs and businesses. This event will offer guests a chance to take a trip down memory lane through food, games, and entertainment. The purpose of the event is to raise money for the Family Museum Foundation and to remind guests of a time when play was a priority and that sitting at The Kids’ Table wasn’t so bad after all. Tickets are $50 each and are on sale at the Family Museum or online at www.FamilyMuseum.org/KidsTable .
Food and drinks will be provided by the following: Barrel House, Bettendorf Hy-Vee Chef Nicolette Petty, Carousel of Delights, Chestnut Street Inn, Cookies by Design, Culver’s of Bettendorf, Famous Dave’s BBQ, Granite City, Happy Joe’s, Popcorn Charlie and Company, and Static Melt.
Entertainment for the evening includes carnival games, games on loan from Analog Arcade, and a prize-filled duck pond. There will be live music by 10 of Soul and silent auction items. Awards will be given for the Best Dish, Drink, or Dessert of the Night, and one community member will be honored for their work with both the Family Museum and the Quad City Area.
