BBQ in the Quad Cities is Back!

“It’s finally here… WE’RE RE-OPENING”

News came out tonight that makes many food lovers in the Quad Cities very happy.

When thinking of a great place in the Quad Cities to get some delicious BBQ (or barbeque/barbecue, whichever you prefer), most think of the amazing and delectable Jim’s Rib Haven. Unfortunately, the world has had to live without Jim’s BBQ this past month, due to a fire at the 531 24th Street Rock Island location on Tuesday July 2, 2019.

Luckily, all of our dreams have been answered. This was the statement released earlier tonight about the future of one of the Quad Cities’ best local BBQ spots:

“If you’ve been wondering where we’ve been the past few weeks- here it is! After a long wait, we are finally RE-OPENING! To celebrate our newly opened kitchen, we will be taking a few orders for this Saturday afternoon! It is VERY limited, so WE ARE TAKING PRE-ORDERS ONLY for this Saturday! We will be there with the doors open from 2pm-5pm!”

The Quad Cities’ Rib Haven torch has been passed on. Jim’s very close nephew, Damion, has made the decision to reopen the East Moline location (907 15th Avenue East Moline) under the name of Damion’s Rib Haven.

At this time, Damion’s Rib Haven will be open on weekends, with a limited menu. Carry-out only. Catering is also available, by calling (309) 716-7671.
