Art, music, food and flowers. Sounds like the perfect recipe to a beautiful summer day!

The Quad City Botanical Center and River Music Experience are hosting a new summer event, Art in the Garden. The event will take place at the Quad City Botanical Center (2525 4^th Avenue Rock Island) on Saturday July 29 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The cost of admission is $8 for adults and $4 for youth and members of the Botanical Center or River Music Experience. Tickets can be purchased in advance by going to http://www.shop.qcgardens.com/. This event will take place rain or shine.

Art in the Garden will present live music and poetry in an air-conditioned events canopy. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse and purchase works of art inspired by nature. Various food trucks will also be on site throughout the event. A ‘Creativity Corner’ will also be available for kids to explore their own versions of nature art.
