An Easter Egg Hunt Guide For The Quad Cities!

Easter weekend is upon us! A time for family, food, egg hunts and new beginnings! It is also the time of year for nicer weather and getting out to spend time with others. Across the Quad Cities Area, this weekend will be full of activities.

Every child looks forward to running around and collecting brightly colored plastic eggs filled with goodies. Easter Egg Hunts are not only thrilling for children, but very enjoyable for adults to witness as well. Here are some of the egg hunts happening in the QCA this weekend:

29th Annual Ranch Rider Motorcycle Brotherhood Easter Egg Hunt at Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds (2815 W Locust St Davenport)

Saturday, April 15 at 1pm

There will be 4 different age groups and a special needs field. Joey’s bounce houses, face painting, magic show and pictures of Easter Bunny will all be available.

 

Easter Egg Hunt at Hope Creek Care Center (4343 Kennedy Drive East Moline)

Friday, April 14 at 2pm

Community is invited for this free event. Children ages 12 and younger can participate.

 

SHC Easter Egg Hunt at Sacred Heart Cathedral (422 E 10th Street Davenport)

Saturday, April 15 at 10am

The Hunt will be outside in the Rectory yard. Bring a basket, bag or bucket to collect eggs.

 

New Life Church’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt at New Life Church (1107 Wisconsin Ave Davenport)

Saturday, April 15 at 11am

All children and families are welcome. This event is free and will take place on the church’s North Lawn.

 

Sawmill Indoor Easter Egg Hunt at The Sawmill Museum (2231 Grant St Clinton)

Saturday, April 15 at 10:30 (Ages 1-3), 11:30 (Ages 3-5) and 12:30 (Ages 5-8)

10-15 eggs per child. Hunt is included in regular admission to the museum.

 

Muscatine Easter Egg Hunt at McDonald’s (2520 Park Ave Muscatine)

Friday, April 14 at 9am (0-2 years old), 9:30 (3 years old), 10am (4 years old), 10:30 (5 years old), 11am (6 years old) and 11:30 7-9 years old)

There will be a special appearance by Ronald McDonald and the Easter Bunny.

 

Egg Hunt at Discovery Depot (128 S Chambers St Galesburg)

Saturday, April 15 at 9:30am

Rain or Shine Egg Hunt at the museum. Hundreds of eggs and prizes to find. $2 members/$3 nonmembers.

 

Quad Cities River Bandits Egg Hunt at Modern Woodmen Park (209 S Gaines St Davenport)
