Kids In The Kitchen Served Up This WeekendLooking for a kid-friendly event this weekend? How about one that involved gingerbread houses?

Both Bettendorf and Moline (John Deere Rd) Hy-Vee locations are holding their Kids in the Kitchen events this Saturday Dec 16 and both classes are focusing on holiday fun!

Join Bettendorf Hy-Vee dietician Lauren for Kids in the Kitchen: Gingerbread Houses and Holiday Recipes from 1-2 p.m. The cost per child is $12. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend. Registration is required. To register, contact Lauren by calling Bettendorf Hy-Vee at (563) 332-8496 or by sending an e-mail to Lauren at 1037Dietitian1@hy-vee.com.

Each child will decorate their own gingerbread house, enjoy hot chocolate and make cinnamon pear muffins!

Moline (John Deere) Hy-Vee will be hosting Kids in the Kitchen: Gingerbread House & Ornament Decorating. There are two time-slots for this class, one at 10 a.m. and another at 12 p.m. Children must be between ages 3-9. The cost is $12 per child and each participant must be accompanied by an adult.

Every child will receive one gingerbread house and one ornament to decorate. Kids will also enjoy a full hot chocolate bar while they decorate! Once finished, children will be able to take their masterpieces home to show off to family members!
