Have A Family Friendly Time With Noon Year’s Eve At Family Museum

Are you looking for a family friendly event for this New Year’s Eve? Are your kids too young to stay awake till midnight? Then look no far than the Family Museum’s Noon Year’s Eve event. On New Year’s Eve, starting at 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m., Noon Year’s Eve will have a kid friendly New Year’s Eve celebration 12 hours before midnight.

This event will include art activities geared towards the entire family, live music, a countdown to noon complete with noise makers, party crowns, a balloon drop, and lots confetti. This event is included with membership or paid admission. Admission fees are $7 for everyone between two years old to 59, $4 for adults over the age of 60 as well as one-year old children. $4 is also the fee for active military personnel, their spouse, and children that reside in the household. Children under the age of one and all Family Museum members are free of admission fees.

The Family Museum is located at 2900 Learning Campus Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722. The museum will be closed on New Year’s Day and will have special hours on January 2 opening at 9:00 a.m. and closing at 5:00 p.m. Normal hours will resume on January 3. The galleries shall be open during this time and the museum will be open until 5:00 p.m. These galleries include: Fox Hollow, George’s Farm, Lil ‘Ssippi River Valley, PlayHouse, ThinkShop, the Outdoor Play Area, and the Travelling Exhibit. Each of these galleries are geared towards engaging children in a fun environment where they can learn while they play.
