Freedom Fest Offers Fun For The Whole Family

Are you looking for a day of fun for the entire family, this weekend? Then look no further than the 2017 East Moline Freedom Fest!

This year’s Freedom Fest will take place on Saturday Aug 19, downtown East Moline. The newly constructed bandshell will be in full swing, along with the 10th Annual Main Drag Car Show, vendor craft fair, 3 on 3 basketball tournament, Kid’s Toy Drop and much more!

Here the full schedule of entertainment at the beautiful new bandshell:

1 p.m.                      Kate Holson

1:20 p.m.              Nyquist Roundhouse Martial Arts

2 p.m.                      Jessie White Tumblers

3 p.m.                      She Z Studio (Zumba Fitness Demo)

3:30 p.m.              Presentation with Mayor & Military – Project Toy Drop

3:45 p.m.              Police K9 Demonstration

4:15 p.m.              Quad City Motion Respiro Belly Dancing Team

5 p.m.                      YoYo-Y-Yo

5:30 p.m.              QC Ballet Folklorico will be providing sound

6 p.m.                      Silver Spur

7 p.m.                      Fran and The Country Gentlemen

9 p.m.                      Funktastic 5

 

The Freedom Fest’s 10th Annual Main Drag Show will begin at 5 p.m. The Vendor Craft Show will take place from 1-8 p.m. The 3 on 3 basketball tournament begins at 3 p.m.

In addition to all of the other fun activities, inflatable obstacle courses have been provided by QC Bouncy! Quad City Knockerball will be on-site with Giant Jenga, Giant Pong and Knockerball. Face painters and a balloon animal maker will help turn this day into one full of fun for the kids!
