Adults-Only Power Wheels Race Rips Into Q-C

Adults-Only Power Wheels Race Rips Into Q-CA new and exciting event is coming to the Quad Cities that you won’t want to miss!

MW Productions is hosting their very first Down Hill Jam on Saturday Sep 2 at Camden Park (1550 31st Avenue Milan) from 2-9 p.m. The Down Hill Jam is an adults-only power wheels race!

That’s right, if you have ever looked at your child’s (or neighbor’s) power wheels and thought to yourself, ‘I wonder how fast I could ride that thing down-hill’ then this is your lucky day! For a small registration fee of $5 you now have an opportunity to show all your friends and family how amazing you are at controlling a battery-operated power wheels at unknown speeds. You can register at Camden Park on the day of the event, or send a message to MW Productions on Facebook or you can call Michael Woolley at (309) 644-1519. Every person interested in participating must be 18 years or older. There will be payouts for the top 3 finishers.

Every participant must bring their own power wheels, whether it be a Mustang, ATV, F-150 or the coveted Barbie Jeep model. In addition, a helmet and neck brace must also be brought from home and worn during the races. If you are curious as to why, go online and check out some footage from other races. You will be grateful for these safety measures.

Spectators are also encouraged to attend! There is no admission charge for those coming to watch these exhilarating and competitive endeavors.

Michael Woolley, the owner of MW Productions, is also the mastermind behind Down Hill Jam. His video productions of local dirt-track races, at places such as Quad City Speedway and Maquoketa Speedway, have led to many friendships with stock car drivers and fans alike. The idea for Down Hill Jam has been in the making for a while. Downhill Power Wheels races are not a new concept in other areas, and he wants to bring that same level of adrenaline and entertainment to the Quad Cities. Michael says the main goal for this event is to “get everyone together as a family and have some fun”.

MW Productions will be filming this Saturday, during the races. The final production and past productions can be found on their YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcPxRB6hBwXgB1OoUkWmpQw or on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/MW-Productions-651401814981695/.

Whether your inner dare-devil wants to come out to play this Saturday or you are interested in witnessing what will most likely be one of the most exciting events you’ve ever seen, then head to Camden Park for Down Hill Jam!
