Tips To Keep Your Pets Safe This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day is a wonderful day to gather with your family and friends, it can also bring hazards for your pets.
  • Keep your fest on the table, not under it. It’s not a good idea to share human food with your pets.
  • Too many people can be stressful to your pets. Be sure they have a safe and comfortable place to go to get away from the festivities.
  • If you are travelling, pack for you and your pet with a list so you do not forget important items, like medications and identification.
  • Quick action will save lives. If your pet does get into something they should not have call your veterinarian, local animal emergency center, ASPCA Poison Control Hotline (888-426-4435) or the Pet Poison Helpline (855-764-7661).
The QCAWC Team wishes you and your family a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
