Rock Island Public Library Donates Eclipse Glasses To Rock Island Students

The Solar Eclipse was a “totally” awesome experience for Rock Island school students yesterday! A HUGE THANK YOU to the Rock Island Public Library for donating 1895 solar eclipse glasses to the district!

Students and staff across the district immersed themselves in this celestial event, from using their eclipse glasses to witness the view, to engaging in activities to create their own artistic representation of the solar eclipse, to creative lessons that explained what a solar eclipse is.
