Enjoy some free play in the Artica, the museum’s most kid-friendly space! Or you can stop by the lobby for some free snacks and visit with the US Fish & Wildlife Service to learn more about the endangered mussels in the Mississippi River. There will also be films scheduled throughout the day in the Auditorium.

Also make sure to check out the new summer exhibitions, ‘Chad Pregracke: Message in a Bottle Collection’, ‘Aernout Overbeeke and Teska Overbeeke: Life on the Mississippi; The Art of Shared Experiences: New Haitian Works from the Figge Collection’, ‘Jean Shin MAiZE’ and Black Dolls from the Collection of Deborah Neff; Kara Walker: The Emancipation Approximation (Parental Advisory: Graphic Content).
