Ever Think Of Writing Your Legacy Letter?

Sharing your legacy with those you love. This is something most of us hope to accomplish, but may not know exactly how to go about it.

Midwest Writing Center is hosting a ‘Writing Your Legacy Letter’ Workshop this Saturday Nov 4 from 2-4 p.m. at the Midwest Writing Center (401 19th Street Rock Island).

A legacy letter is a perfect way to convey your wishes, values, beliefs and desires with your surviving family members. These ‘ethical wills’ can be documented and preserved to share with your descendants for decades to come. And while these moral communications are perfect to pass on, you may not be sure exactly how to create or even start one.

Instructor Susan Collins will lead the workshop, helping those in attendance to focus on what they want to share and how to do it. For more information from Susan Collins, you can also check out the Facebook Event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/121458765234796/.

The cost of the Writing Your Legacy Letter Workshop is only $5 (free for MWC members). To register, you can use the PayPal link on the MWC web page (http://www.mwcqc.org/) for the workshop or call Ryan Collins at (309) 732-7330 to pay over the phone.

Come learn more about this 3,500-year-old tradition, while preserving your own legacy.
