Illinois Congressman Sorensen Campaign to Host Election Night Watch Party in Downtown Moline

Today, the Eric Sorensen campaign will host an election night party with staff, volunteers, and community members in downtown Moline, Illinois, to watch the results of the 2024 election. Sorensen is seeking reelection to Congress for Illinois’ 17th District, the state’s most competitive congressional race.

“I was proud to cast my vote early alongside my neighbors in Moline, and it was quick and easy! I encourage voters across Central and Northwestern Illinois to do the same to continue our work to bring down costs, protect reproductive freedom, and bring home tax dollars to improve local infrastructure. Don’t wait—grab a friend, head out, and make your voice heard,” said Sorensen.

The race to represent Illinois’ 17th congressional district has been targeted by national Republicans. First-term Congressman Eric Sorensen, a former meteorologist for the Quad Cities, currently holds the seat.
