MercyOne Genesis Breaking Ground On Eldridge Expansion Wednesday

Eldridge, Iowa, December 2, 2024 – MercyOne Genesis will hold a groundbreaking for the expansion of
MercyOne Genesis Eldridge Family Medicine at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 301 N. 4th Ave., Eldridge.
The Eldridge location, which includes MercyOne Genesis Eldridge Family Medicine, Convenient Care,
Imaging & Laboratory, has experienced significant growth over the last 10 years and is projected to
continue growing. MercyOne Genesis is committed to evolving to meet the community's needs.
“The expansion will provide the opportunity to grow primary care services with four additional providers.
We are pleased to share that two physicians have signed and will begin in the next one to two years.
The construction is expected to begin immediately and be complete in the summer of 2025,” said Beau
Dexter, Regional VP Operations, MercyOne Medical Group.
In the fiscal year 2024, MercyOne Genesis Eldridge Family Medicine cared for over 10,000 patients,
which included 39,080 family practice visits and 7,860 Convenient Care visits.
“The City of Eldridge values our long-time partnership with MercyOne Genesis. We are very fortunate to
have them here to provide vital health care services to our residents and surrounding areas. We are
thrilled about this expansion and supporting the growth of our community by increasing available services
to all our current and future citizens,” said Frank King, Eldridge mayor.
