Illinois Fresh Films Seeking Young Filmmakers For Movie Programs

Applications for our last filmmaking project – Scripted Short Films presented by Sony Pictures – are open now through April 15th and we would love for your youth to join us! Our last filmmaking project of the year is a teen favorite so we have included a program email below that you can easily forward to your students!

Make your own Short Film starting April 21st!

If you want to make movies, then you won’t want to miss our final weekly filmmaking project, Scripted Short Films, presented by Sony Pictures. Starting April 21st, you’ll work on producing, filming and editing your scripted film — which will premiere at our celebration on June 2!

Each Thursday, you’ll gain film skills AND learn from the pros at Sony Pictures Television!

(which is also great networking for future internships & jobs!)

Illinois Fresh Films Seeking Young Filmmakers For Movie Programs

Because of the generosity of funders, Fresh Films programs are offered free to students to learn about the film business.

Teens can join us at the Fresh Films Offices @ Augustana College (639 38th Street, Rock Island, IL 61201)

The program is completely free and applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis –  so apply as soon as possible to learn new filmmaking skills and get creative telling your stories. Take a look at the winning videos made from last year’s short film project for an idea of what kind of video you’ll be making!

Details and applications: freshfilms.org/weeklyfilmmaking

We hope you will make movies with us!
