Today, Congressman Eric Sorensen will join Rock Island County farmers and Illinois Farm Bureau leaders a family farm in Taylor Ridge, where they will discuss the status of the farm bill, the effects of severe weather on farms, and Sorensen’s efforts on behalf of Illinois producers.

This visit follows the endorsement of Sorensen’s campaign by the Illinois Farm Bureau’s political action committee, ACTIVATOR, and Sorensen’s work to advance a Farm Bill that supports Illinois agriculture. Sorensen will receive an award in recognition of the endorsement during the visit. Media are invited to cover the event, and Sorensen will be available for questions.
