Davenport, Iowa – July 29, 2024 – Genesis Medical tent treated
approximately 19 runners and three non-runners during the Quad City Times Bix
7 on Saturday. One patient needed to be transferred for further observation to
Genesis Medical Center Emergency Room. “Cooler temperatures and overcast
skies helped reduce the number of people needing care,” said Ed Motto, MD,
Medical Tent Director.
“All of our volunteers did a fantastic job today. From our doctors, nurses and
LPNs to the team members who handle the logistics, security and materials, we
are a well-oiled machine and love what we do. I am grateful for having such a
great team of professionals who take the time to come out and participate in the
Genesis Medical Tent every year.”
