Free Residential Secure Shred Day at Crossroads

Crossroads is pleased to announce its third annual Free Residential Secure Shred Day on
Wednesday, May 15th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. This event allows individuals to declutter
their desks and files confidently, knowing that Crossroads' trusted shredding service will
securely dispose of their personal documents.
As a local leader in secure document destruction, Crossroads provides AAA NAID-certified
shredding operations, ensuring the highest level of security for both corporations and residents.
With a commitment to discretion and customer satisfaction, Crossroads' shredding service offers
peace of mind and promotes a clutter-free living and working environment.
Participants are encouraged to mark their calendars and take advantage of this valuable
opportunity to rid themselves of outdated or sensitive documents. It's important to note that all
documents should be removed from binders before shredding, and Crossroads cannot accept
magazines, newspapers, or glossy paper.
Crossroads offers fee-based year-round shredding services for corporations and residents, with
proceeds supporting services for seniors and people with disabilities. For more information about
Crossroads' secure shredding services or the Free Residential Shred Day event, please get in
touch with Kraig Reed at kreed@crossroadsmuscatine.org.

About Crossroads-
Crossroads, Inc., a non-profit, serves over 600 individuals across eight service lines in Muscatine
and Tipton. Our mission is to cultivate choice and inclusion for seniors and people with
disabilities. We provide supported community living, supported employment, day habilitation,
adult day care, Meals on Wheels, outreach, chore, and home repair for senior homeowners.
Donations and volunteers are vital to the success of our organization. It costs Crossroads and
Senior Resources $4.5 million to provide the services our community and clients deserve.
Medicaid reimbursements only cover about $3 million. To thrive, we must raise at least $1.5
million from other avenues, including grants and philanthropic giving.
