On Thursday, October 17, 2024, Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) will visit Silvis to announce and provide updates on his funding request from the federal government to replace sewers and upgrade the city’s infrastructure. Media are permitted to attend both the tour of the storm sewer site on 3rd Street and the press conference, and Sorensen will be made available for questions.
