Snapdragon Book Foundation Helping Rock Island Academy
The directors of the Snapdragon Book Foundation are excited to announce Rock Island Academy as the beneficiary of this year’s Next Up program! Every September, we showcase the school library that would have received a grant in May if we had enough funds. We provide 100% of all donations during the month of September directly to the library to fund their grant application.
We are looking to raise $1,500 to fully fund Rock Island Academy’s proposed project, “Building Literacy Opportunities for English Language Learners.” This project seeks to purchase 117 age-appropriate books to serve the diverse K-6 English Language students at this school.
