Rock Island Hosting Summer School For Drivers’ Education
Rock Island High School is hosting summer school for drivers education!
A Virtual meeting will be held TONIGHT, Wednesday February 15th at 6:30 pm, Join by going to RIHS Website under the Academics tab click on Drivers Education and that will take you to a link for the virtual meeting.
Here are the details:
1. Cost $175.00 check made out to Rock Island High School and $20.00 check made out to
Illinois Secretary of State (two separate checks) NO REFUNDS!!!
2. Study for rules of the road test at www.cyberdriveillinois.com Click on Driver’s License, then
click on Driver Education, then click on Rules of the Road
You need to attend one of the following dates to take permit test and sign up:
Sunday, February 19th 3 – 4 pm or 4 – 5 pm
Wednesday February 22th 6 – 7 pm
Sunday February 26th 3 – 4 pm or 4 – 5 pm
Meeting will be in room 14 at RIHS. Enter through the south doors at the new parking lot.
Parents must wait outside. Only students are allowed in the building.
Bring: a. Parent(s) with a blue or black pen to sign an application and pay.
b. All money – if you do not have ALL MONEY OWED you will not be allowed to sign up.
If paying with cash you need the exact amount.
c. Contacts, glasses, charged chromebook, know your address, height and weight
Be ready to choose from 1 of the following sections, Block 1 or 2 shown below. We will sign up
on a first come first serve basis.
Block 1 Class Everyday 7:00-9:00 am Drive/Simulation 9:00-Noon (every 3rd day)
Block 2 Class Everyday 3:00-5:00 pm Drive/Simulation Noon-3:00 (every 3rd day)
If you miss a day of class you will have to make it up. If you miss 2 days you get removed.
*No Fee Waivers for Summer School, must pay in full when you sign up.
