Roselieb Named Interim Assistant Vice President for Facilities Management At Western Illinois
MACOMB/Moline, IL – – Joseph Roselieb, executive director of auxiliary services and risk management, has been named the interim assistant vice president (AVP) for Facilities Management at Western Illinois University, effective January 1.
Additionally, Ted Renner, deputy director of Facilities Management, has been named the temporary interim director of Facilities Management, effective January 1.
Roselieb has served as the executive director of auxiliary services and risk management since 2020, where he was responsible for the general oversight of auxiliary services, safety initiatives, University policies and procedures, emergency management and risk operations and compliance. Previously, he has served as the director of residential and auxiliary facilities (2018-2020), director of residential facilities (2012-2018), the facilities liaison to WIU Athletics (2015-2019) and the assistant director of residential facilities (2008-2012).
As the AVP for Facilities Management, Roselieb will lead a team of more than 160 employees within Facilities Management, overseeing critical areas such as campus planning, design and construction, engineering, utilities, sustainability, landscaping, building and mechanical operations, transportation, steam generation plant (heating plant), central stores, Quad Cities facilities and Building Services.

Mr. Roselieb brings a unique set of talents and skills to the role that I believe will greatly benefit Facilities Management and the University as a whole,” Vice President for Finance and Administration Paul Edwards said. “I look forward to working with Joe in his new position as we all work to advance and better Western Illinois University.”
Roselieb received his bachelor’s degree in 2007 and master’s degree in 2009 from WIU.
