Project NOW Moline Giving Away Free Winter Outfits To Local Children Today

Thanks to the Breakfast Optimist Club of Moline 114 Project NOW Head Start children will be receiving a complete winter outfit at no cost.  Co-Chair of the club’s coats & shoes committee, Martin Schmidt, says this is the 10th year of providing the needed coats, shoes, tops, pants, gloves, and hats.  “The Breakfast Optimist Club loves to work with Project Now Head Start due to their dedication to families who don’t have enough resources. The Head Start teachers were a joy to work with. They shopped alongside our members, and we were able to give every child a personalized outfit for the cold temperatures that are just around the corner.”

This special giveaway is being held on Thursday, November 14th at 9:30 am at the Esperanza Center in Moline (335 5th Avenue, Moline).
