Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) will hold a virtual press conference on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, to talk about the start of the new Congress and his plans for 2025. Members of the press are invited to join and learn about Congressman Sorensen’s priorities as he begins his second term serving Central and Northwestern Illinois.

This press conference follows Sorensen’s January 3 swearing-in. A former meteorologist with 20 years of experience in Rockford and the Quad Cities, he is beginning his second term in Congress.

Sorensen will answer a number of questions about his plans for his new term and his goals for the coming years.
