Illinois Congressman Sorensen Announces $1.8 Million in Head Start Funding

On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) toured Project NOW’s Esperanza Center to greet teachers whose classrooms will benefit from $1.8 million in federal dollars they received in the form of a Head Start grant from the Department of Health and Human Services.

The grant will provide early childhood education for families in the Quad Cities.
