St. Ambrose University Named One of America’s Best Colleges
St. Ambrose University is celebrating another
national recognition for its high-quality education and affordability. Money.com recently
published its annual list of America’s best four-year universities and colleges and St.
Ambrose was named “One of America’s Best Colleges” for 2024.
The magazine’s annual “Best Colleges in America” ranking evaluates institutions on
more than 20 factors, including affordability, quality of education and student outcomes
such as graduation rates and success in landing meaningful careers.
“Our focus is on our students and providing them with innovative learning experiences
and resources they need to become who they are meant to be,” said President Amy
Novak, EdD, St. Ambrose University. “St. Ambrose can be surprisingly affordable and
we are intentional in creating a unique environment that helps students find success
here and in their future careers. That’s what being Ambrosian is all about.”
Money.com evaluated more than 2,400 universities and colleges across the country.
Only about a third of those institutions made the magazine’s initial cut before the
published rankings. St. Ambrose was evaluated and chosen for its strong financial
health, focus on student learning and graduation rates.
“I’d like to thank our professors, leaders, faculty and staff who work tirelessly to support
our students every step of the way. We’re grateful for this honor and what it represents.
We hope everyone will come visit us on campus and see what it means to be a Fighting
Bee,” said Novak.
St. Ambrose University is guided by four fundamental values that embody its spirit and
mission. The values are courage, wisdom, justice, and service. Each value not only
defines the Catholic institution but also directs its actions and decisions as a community
dedicated to excellence in education, research, and societal contributions.
