Michelle Servadio Elias Wins Democratic Primary For Iowa House District 96
Michelle Servadio Elias has won to be the Democratic Nominee for the Iowa House of Representatives District 96.
“I am honored to be the Democrats’ choice to represent Muscatine County in the Iowa Legislature,” said Michelle Servadio Elias. “I was pleased to see so many friends and neighbors get out to vote in the Primary yesterday.
“The choices among candidates and issues in the upcoming general election are clear. Now it’s time to focus on what’s important for Iowa and our community.”
Servadio Elias is a veteran and retired nurse who wishes to put her experience to work for the best for all Iowans. As the State Chairwoman for the Iowa Democratic Veterans Caucus, she has worked with her Republican counterpart to advance a bipartisan legislative agenda advocating for the needs of Iowa Veterans. She supports equitable funding solutions for parents to choose the education that best suits their child’s needs. She is a Christian, serves as a Commissioner on the Muscatine County Veterans Affairs Commission, and she co-owns Sunrise Galleries in Downtown Muscatine.
Servadio Elias has a strong background in legislative affairs work advocating for disability rights, agriculture & natural resources, public health, sound budget management, and public education. She has been working for Iowans with state legislators and local governments for many years writing bills and helping to get laws passed.
