Iowa Creative Arts Academy Seeking Applicants

Interested in applying to Iowa’s Creative Arts Academy in Davenport?

What is the CAA looking for in its students?

  • Enthusiasm for the arts and their chosen art form
  • Ability to take instruction and constructive criticism
  • Willingness to experiment, take risks, and learn from setbacks

The CAA will be admitting 7 – 12th graders for the upcoming school year!
Auditions for the Academy will be held on the last weekend of January and first weekend of February for the following school year. We will hold other auditions for students who apply outside that time.

8th grade dancers from the Creative Arts Academy of the Quad Cities

All applicants must fill out the application below. Students with 504 plans or Individualized Education Plans should include a copy with their application or send it by email (mccarthyal@davenportschools.org) to ensure their accommodations are followed in accordance with State and Federal Law. *Please note: Special accommodations will not hinder your child’s acceptance into the Academy. It is merely to ensure proper services are made available for auditions and school. Applications for DCSD students must be received by January 15th to guarantee an audition.

Please note the application does allow you to edit your response after you’ve submitted, so if you need to add the recommendation or report card after you’ve submitted the rest of the application, you are able to do that.
