Bettendorf Public Library and Black Hawk College offering Job Searching Skills class

Bettendorf, IOWA – April 18, 2023 – Effective job searching starts with a plan. The Bettendorf
Public Library and Black Hawk College’s Angela Striegel are presenting Job Searching Skills to
help job seekers on Thursday, April 27 at 7:00 PM. Angela is the Coordinator of Career
Planning and Placement at Black Hawk College and will share information and tips to help
attendees search for and find a job. Topics covered in the presentation include self-analysis,
career research, developing job search materials, targeted job searching, and networking. A
time for questions and answers will follow the presentation. This program is a collaboration
between the Bettendorf Public Library and Black Hawk College. The Job Searching Skills will
take place at the Bettendorf Public Library located at 2950 Learning Campus Dr. in Bettendorf.
Registration is not required to attend.
