World War I Series completes Wednesday, November 10 at Rock Island Public Library

On Wednesday, November 10th at 2:00 pm. Rock Island Public Library hosts Kevin Braafladt, Army Sustainment Command Deputy Historian at the Rock Island Arsenal, for the final lecture in the Army Sustainment Command WWI Lecture Series: The Armistice & The Occupation of Germany.

Braafladt’s talk explores the history of WWI through a discussion of the Armistice and the occupation of Germany. Delve deeper into First World War history by learning about Quad Cities and Rock Island Arsenal historical ties.

The same talk is also available later the same day at 6:00 pm at the Davenport Public Library’s Main Street Branch, and will be available both virtually and as a recording. For those that prefer to attend virtually, please register with the Davenport Public Library at: https://davenportlibrary.libcal.com/event/7315875.
