Western Illinois University Releases New COVID-19 Test/Vaccination Protocols
MACOMB/Moline, IL – As Western Illinois University prepares to start the Spring 2022 semester, all members of the University community (vaccinated and unvaccinated) are encouraged to complete a COVID-19 test before returning to WIU’s campuses (individuals who had COVID-19 in the last 90 days do not need to test). COVID-19 test clinics will be available on both campuses as well.
Following the initial test upon returning to WIU, individuals who are unvaccinated and who attend classes, activities/events, and/or work on either WIU campus (Macomb and Moline) must comply with the required weekly testing. Individuals may opt out of testing if proof of vaccination is provided (see information below).
