Western Illinois University Holiday Festival of Choirs Rings In Dec. 7

The Western Illinois University School of Music will present the Annual Holiday Festival of Choirs at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Macomb.

We are pleased to announce the Annual Holiday Festival of Choirs, featuring two performances of winter and holiday-themed choral music. The concert will include performances by the Western Illinois University Singers, Chamber Singers, Concert Choir and Treble Choir, Macomb Senior High School Madrigal Singers and Concert Choir, and the Holiday Festival Children’s Choir. Audience members will be invited to join in carol sing-alongs, including our traditional singing of “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah.

General admission-only tickets are $10 (free to WIU students with valid ID) and can be purchased at the Hainline Theatre Box Office, 309.298.2900 or online at westernpresents.com/. The remaining tickets will be sold at the door if the performances are not sold out. Tickets sold at the door are available for purchase by check or cash only. Students must show their ID and ticket for admittance to the performance.
This concert usually sells out so, all interested are encouraged to purchase tickets early. To ensure a quality listening experience for our audience we advise that children six and under not attend this concert.
